The Emirates Red Crescent Authority and the UAE Rare Disease Society signed a memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the field of promoting volunteer work, humanitarian support, health education, and limiting the spread of genetic diseases.

The MoU was signed by HE Hamoud Abdullah Al Junaibi, Deputy Secretary-General of the Local Affairs Sector at the ERC, and Mrs. Nafisa Muhammad Tawfiq, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the UAE Rare Disease Society.
